- Personalize content and recommendations.
- Send transactional email and, if you opt in, the newsletter.
- Measure aggregate site performance and feature usage.
- Deliver and measure ads in the mobile app (not on the website).
4. Cookies, website storage, analytics, and tracking technologies
The Application may display content and services provided through our website using an in-app web browser (WebView). The Application and the website may use cookies, local storage, SDKs, pixels, and similar technologies to provide and maintain essential functionality, keep users signed in, remember preferences, analyze usage, and improve the Service.
Necessary storage and cookies may be used without consent where they are required for the Application or website to function, including authentication, maintaining user sessions, security, and essential preferences.
Optional analytics technologies may be used to help us understand how users interact with our content and which lessons or features are useful. Where consent is required, we will ask for the user's consent before enabling optional analytics technologies. Users may choose to accept or reject optional analytics through the cookie/consent mechanism provided within the Application or website.
We do not use advertising cookies on our website for serving advertisements. However, the Application display advertisements through third-party advertising providers, such as Google AdMob. These advertising providers may collect and process information such as device information, advertising identifiers, IP address, approximate location, and information about interactions with advertisements, subject to their own privacy policies and the user's privacy choices.
Where Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework applies, the Application will request the user's permission before accessing information for tracking purposes as defined by Apple. If the user does not grant tracking permission, the Application will respect that choice and will not use the information for tracking purposes that require such permission.
Users may purchase an available subscription, processed directly by Apple through the App Store via Apple's StoreKit framework, to remove advertisements from the Application. The subscription does not necessarily disable the essential cookies or storage required for the Application or website to function.
For more information about how third-party advertising and analytics providers process information, users should review the privacy policies of those providers.
5. Third-party advertising — Google AdMob
The Application may use Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob and its associated services may collect information from the Application, including device and advertising information, to provide, deliver, measure, and improve advertising services.
Depending on the user's choices, applicable laws, and Apple's permission requirements, advertising may be personalized or non-personalized. Where required by Apple, the Application will request permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework before performing tracking.
Users who purchase an applicable subscription through Apple's App Store (StoreKit) may have advertisements removed from the Application.
For more information about Google's handling of information, please refer to Google's applicable privacy documentation, including My Ad Center. You can also limit ad personalization on your device: on iOS via Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking; on Android via Settings > Privacy > Ads.
6. Sharing
We share data with service providers that host, secure, and analyze the service: our cloud database and authentication provider, email delivery, website analytics, and — in the mobile app only — Google AdMob for advertising. We do not sell your personal information.
In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed directly by Apple through the App Store using Apple's StoreKit framework. We do not use any third-party purchase SDK (such as RevenueCat) to process payments. Purchase and subscription data — including transaction receipts, product identifiers, and entitlement status — is handled by Apple and the App Store under Apple's terms; we only receive what is necessary to confirm your subscription and remove advertisements.
7. Data retention
We keep account and activity data for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time from the Profile page; this permanently removes your personal data from our systems.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live (e.g., EEA, UK, California), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your data, and to object to certain processing. You can access, export, or permanently delete your account and all of its data yourself from the Profile page in your account. You can control mobile ad personalization through your device advertising settings (see sections 4 and 5), and you can decline non-essential website analytics using your browser controls.
9. Children
Fitness Tutor Academy is not directed to children under 13. Do not use the service if you are under 13.
10. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be noted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
